ScamBare is designed with privacy at its core. We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services.
Scam Detector
When you use our Scam Text Checker, we never store the raw text of your message. We log only anonymous metadata: the verdict (safe/suspicious/dangerous), scam type classification, risk score, and timestamp. This data cannot be traced back to you or the original message.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address solely for sending updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our tools are used. No personal data, cookies, or fingerprinting is involved.
Games and Tools
High scores and preferences for our Detective games and Password Generator are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This data never leaves your device.
What We Don't Collect

Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Our backend infrastructure uses row-level security policies and encryption at rest.
